The 2025 Annual Conference for the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative brought together municipal leaders, policymakers, and partners from across the binational basin to shape The Future of Fresh Water. I led the full creative and strategic development of the event—from naming and branding to scripting, production, and execution.
Held in Milwaukee, WI, this multi-day conference featured a robust agenda of plenaries, breakout sessions, networking events, and educational tours. I produced the entire stage experience, including the design and scripting of general sessions, slide decks, AV coordination, run-of-show documentation, and curated music for transitions and atmosphere. I also collaborated with a video contractor to develop five original videos that introduced major conference themes, amplified mayoral voices, and reinforced key messaging across the event.
My responsibilities included:
-
Developing the event name, theme, and visual identity
-
Directing the logo and branding system
-
Creating and scripting all general session slides and remarks
-
Writing the run of show (ROS) and AV cue notes
-
Curating music and transitions to guide event energy
-
Collaborating with a video team to concept, script, and produce 5 conference videos
-
Coordinating sponsor messaging and visual recognition
-
Supporting social media, signage, and digital promotion
This conference wasn’t just an event—it was a platform to elevate freshwater leadership and inspire bold action for our shared waters.
