As a global leader in freshwater innovation, Cleveland Water Alliance (CWA) needed a compelling brand presence to match its impact. I led the creation of their visual identity, designed and launched a responsive website, and developed high-impact communications materials—supporting their position as the key connector in the emerging blue economy.
Rooted in the mission to transform how the world values water, CWA collaborates with over 300 global organizations, leading research institutions, and public agencies. The new branding reflects this future-forward, systems-thinking approach. The logo, a stylized droplet embedded with data nodes, captures the convergence of nature, technology, and connectivity—highlighting CWA’s development of Lake Erie as the most digitally connected freshwater body in the world.
In addition to the core brand and website, I also created the CWA Innovator Brochure, a bold, visually-driven piece designed to attract startups, funders, and institutional partners. This document communicates CWA’s innovation programs—including testbeds, accelerator support, and global deployment opportunities—through strategic copy layout, infographics, and clear calls to action.
Together, these pieces establish a cohesive, professional system that supports CWA’s continued expansion, member engagement, and international recognition.
