Tuskegee Airmen
Poster Design
This poster was created to support research by Wayne R. Lusardi focused on the story of the Tuskegee Airmen in Michigan and the archaeological investigation connected to that history. The piece was designed to present historical research in a way that felt both informative and visually compelling, blending archival material, aircraft illustrations, recovered artifact photography, and underwater archaeology imagery into one cohesive educational display.
I volunteered my time for this project and collaborated closely with Wayne to shape the content into a poster that honored the significance of the subject matter while making the research accessible to viewers. My role included the overall visual design, layout, typography, image organization, and the development of a format that could hold a large amount of information without losing clarity or impact.
