Straights of Mackinac

Mackinac State Historic Parks approached me to development the logo for the new Straits of Mackinac Shipwreck Museum. Located on the grounds of Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse in Mackinaw City, the Shipwreck Museum tells the stories of the ships and sailors whose time on the straits ended tragically. The logo represents a ship being overtaken by the stormy blue seas in the watercolor graphic of the two great lakes with the white outlining the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan and Mackinac Island.
